Day 1 - 348 km.

  • Departure in the morning from Aktau city.
  • The Karagiye Depression is the deepest dry lowland in Kazakhstan and the fifth largest in the world, and the landscape is impressive with steep slopes and exotic nature.
  • Sherkala Mount (height 308 meters) - this unique mountain remnant, which arose during the era of land rising from the depths of the sea, stands out with its unusual outlines, resembling a giant yurt or sacred pantheons.
  • The Kyzylkala settlement (10th–13th centuries) is a territory where, during the period of the Great Silk Road, there was a settlement with a mysterious history.
  • Samal Gorge is a natural gorge with rare relict plants and a freshwater spring that does not dry up even in the heat.
  • Karaman Ata is one of the oldest necropolises of Mangistau, dating back to the 12th century, known for its unique architecture. The necropolis of the same name includes medieval Turkmen steles, mausoleums of the 19th-20th centuries and stone tombstones created by the masters of the Adai clan. This place is known as a symbol of peace and justice: disputes were resolved here and unbreakable oaths were given.
  • The Ybykty Sai Canyon impresses with its delicate rocks, grottoes and labyrinths formed millions of years ago.
  • In the evening you arrive at the cozy and hospitable ethno-aul Kogez, located in the picturesque mountainous part of Mangistau. You will have dinner in a cafe, rest in the park area, an evening by the fire and accommodation in a natural 5-person yurt made of felt.
Day 2 - 220 km.
Ethno village "Kogez" - Shomanay-Ayrakty Valley (Valley of Castles) - Western Chink of Ustyurt sor Tuzbair - yurt camping "Ethno village "Kogez", dinner and overnight in a yurt
  • Ethno aul Kogez - breakfast. Then the tour continues.
  • The Valley of Castles Airakty-Shomanay amazes with its grandeur and scale. In the center rise mountain remnants, reminiscent of majestic medieval castles, and at every turn a new transformation of rock massifs opens up.
  • Then we move to the Tuzbair sor. The Tuzbair sor is a unique salt marsh surrounded by steep sides of the western Ustyurt Plateau. Rains turn the sor into a huge lake, mesmerizing with its bright whiteness and size. And only after the water evaporates can you walk on a crust of sparkling salt crystals. The steep cliffs of the Plateau, composed of sedimentary rocks, amaze with their fantastic shapes.
  • In the evening, return to the ethno village Kogez, dinner in a cafe, accommodation in a natural 5-bed yurt made of felt.
Day 3 - 385 km.
“Ethno village “Kogez” - underground mosque Beket ata (Oglandy) - steep slopes of the Ustyurt Plateau, Bozzhyra valley, overnight in tents.
  • Ethno village Kogez - breakfast. Then the tour continues.
  • The underground mosque Beket-Ata occupies a special place in the Muslim world, comparable in importance to the burial places of Mohammed and Kozhakhmet. Beket-Ata is known as the prophet to whom the book of Genesis was revealed. After descending the winding stairs, pilgrims can read prayers, receive a blessing and visit a sacred spring with water that, according to legend, has healing powers.
  • Bozzhyra is a valley surrounded by picturesque steep sides of the Ustyurt Plateau formed by chalk deposits. Bozzhyra is a dazzling white rock outcrop, the most famous of which resembles the shape of two huge fangs. Overnight in tents.
Day 4 - 100 km.
Bozzhyra – the lost mountain Bokty – the mysterious mountain Naiza – the bright colors of the Kyzylkup valley, overnight in tents.
  • After breakfast in the Bozjyra Valley, continuation of the tour.
  • The lost mountain Bokty is a lonely mountain rising on the flat surface of the takyr in the shape of a truncated pyramid, with red layers of chalk.
  • The mysterious Mount Naiza - the name of the mountain translates as "Spearhead". The slopes of the mountain are covered with flattened stone concretions like scales. Walk, sightseeing.
  • The bright colors of the Kyzylkup Valley - a panorama of amazing horizons of colored chalk with red layers. It is here that you can see the unusual image of the Mangistau "Sphinx". Overnight in tents in Kyzylkup.
Day 5 - 289 km.
Kyzylkup – Shopan Ata underground mosque – Tuyesu sand dunes (walking through the dunes) – Aktau city
  • After breakfast, the tour continues.
  • In the morning, transfer to the underground mosque Shopan Ata. Visit to the underground mosque of the holy elder Shopan Ata, according to legend, a disciple of the great Khoja Akhmed Yassawi, a famous Sufi poet, mystic and philosopher. Acquaintance with the variety of memorial monuments on the territory of the necropolis and with traditional rituals accepted in holy places.
  • After lunch, transfer to the village of Senek. A short walk along the sand dunes of Tuyesu.
  • After a fascinating tour, return to the city of Aktau in the evening.
