Day 1 - 145 km.
Aktau city – Fort Shevchenko city – Bautino village, overnight at the hotel.
  • In the morning departure from Aktau.
  • Sightseeing tour of Fort Shevchenko.
  • Walk along the central square where the majestic monument to Isa Tlenbayev and Dosan Tazhiyev is located: erected in honor of the leaders of the Aday rebellion of 1870, it allows you not only to pay tribute to the heroes, but also to enjoy the picturesque view of the surrounding area from the top of the hill.
  • Armenian chapel: Built in the late 19th century with funds from Armenian merchants, this chapel is the only Armenian temple in Kazakhstan.
  • Visit to the memorial museum of the folk storyteller and zerger Muryn Zhyrau. You will learn about the life and work of Muryn Zhyrau, whose epic works "About 40 steppe batyrs" have become an integral part of the Kazakh cultural heritage in preserving oral creativity and the Kazakh epic.
  • Walking tour of the historical center of Fort Shevchenko. Visit to the most mystical building in Fort Shevchenko.
  • Acquaintance with the village of Nikolaevskaya and the modern village of Bautino. Overnight at the hotel.

Bautino village – Fort Shevchenko city – Aktau city.
  • After breakfast, relax on the seashore with gentle warm sea water. After lunch, continue the tour.
  • Excursion to the park reserve. Visit to the Museum of Ethnography and the memorial museum named after T.G.Shevchenko. The memorial museum presents exhibits dedicated to the life and work of the great Ukrainian poet and artist Taras Shevchenko, who was here in exile in the middle of the 19th century. The museum is surrounded by a garden laid out by the poet himself. Walk through the garden to the monument erected as a tribute to the poet.
  • Climb to the Kurgantash hill where the Novopetrovsk fortification was located. Acquaintance with the burials of the ancient soldiers' cemetery.
  • After a fascinating tour, return to the city of Aktau in the evening.
